Activity: You are looking for sponsors and donors who are willing to support the Food Bank, either occasionally or regularly. These can be companies, organizations, associations, or individuals. Sponsors and donors can support the Food Bank financially, but also by offering their services or products as a gift in kind. In consultation with the board, you will process donation requests from charities. For this vacancy, we are looking for someone with some insight and experience in this area and who can conduct business discussions and handle transactions. Workload: a few half-days per month. Our goal is to provide people living at or below the poverty line with free food products in the form of a weekly food package. To have sufficient food in stock for our customers, we work together with companies, institutions and private individuals. In this way we try to reduce poverty and at the same time combat food waste. The food aid is temporary: we work together with local organizations. Our aim is for customers to be able to stand on their own two feet again as quickly as possible. The Food Bank Spijkenisse is affiliated with Food Banks Netherlands.
